It is very dependable once setup. Take a look at the thread that @jtp10181 linked above to see several of his dashboards. The problem you are having is you are on influxdb3.
I will try to remeber tomorrow to install the 3-core instance on one of my servers and start to test it. It doesn't look like there isn't a direct upgrade path fron the older versions.
