I have two z-wave Graber roller shades from Zebra Blinds. I can get the shades to pair just fine with Hubitat and operate via Alexa, but anytime I'm trying to add back the simple two-button remote (model VCZ1), the shades stop working on Hubitat. I'm new to Z-Wave and Hubitat, so likely doing something wrong.
I was able to pair the two remotes to Hubitat as well, but now the shades aren't responding to their button presses. I'm afraid to do anything else because I keep accidentally messing up my shade <-> hubitat link and having to fully reset the shades and re-pair.
It sounds like when you try to pair the blinds to the buttons it breaks the pairing to HE. If you can pair the blinds to HE and control them from the devices page, and you can pair the buttons to HE and they show up as buttons, why not just create a rule on HE to control the blinds with the buttons and forget about pairing the buttons directly with the blinds?
Hey there, this worked fine until today when one of my blinds has lost its upper and lower limits. Now I cannot reset the limits without resetting the blind and directly pairing the two button, unless you can think of an alternative? I've seen people successfully say they've added the two button as a secondary but I have no idea how.
