Google says Hubitat not available

I have a nighttime scene configured in HE. Turning on the scene does things like turn off lights, arm the alarms system, lock doors, turn of a/v stuff (via Harmony), make an announcement and set the thermostat to night time temperatures. When it is turned off it disarms the alarm, makes an announcement and sets the thermostat to morning temperatures.

In Google Assistant I have the goodnight routine configured so that the only thing it does is turn on the night time scene. The good morning routine turns off the scene.

When I activate the good night routine with "Hey Google, goodnight" everything happens properly, but after a couple of seconds, google responds that hubitat isn't availalbe, even though it activated the scene.

I do not get the error when running the good morning routine.

I have tried disabling all the different actions that happen when the scene is turned on, but I always get this error.

Looking at the logs, there are no errors and there is nothing from the Google Home app. There is a warning from the Harmony Hub about an unhandled response, but it went away when I removed turning off the A/V stuff from the scene but the error from google still happened.

At this point, I am not sure what else to try, so if anyone has suggestions, that would be great.

You could always use Google to turn on a momentary virtual switch and use this switch to turn on your hubitat scene.
(A separate switch for night & morning)

That way Google is just controlling the switch which should report it’s status to google in a timely manner.

Thank you. That works. I created two virtual switches that turn back to off after a delay.

I wouldn't have thought of that.
