I have updated to the newest Hubitat version 2.0.0.102 now my google home is saying "sorry can't connect to Hubitat". When I open the Google app I can manually push the on/off button to work on some of the lights. I have tried to unlink the account and reinstall it I am getting the error from Google "sorry something went wrong" I did try resynchronizing everything with a Google command but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
I finally had Google unlink the Hubitat account but it left 18 lights out of 48 in the Google home app. When I re-add the Hubitat account it add everything to the Google app. Voice command gives me the same errors as before ( sorry can't connect to Hubitat). I can manually push the on/off icons in Google home app and the lights will turn on&off with the exception of the 18 that were left over when the account was unlinked. @patrick
Anything in the logs? Have you rebooted your hub? Can you post a screen shot of the google home app and then the logs after you click the done button in the google home app (in hubitat)?
Hard to follow what the issue is without additional information.
Have you removed the google home app in Hubitat at all?
Let's take this one step at a time, open logs in a separate tab/window and then go into the google home app in hubitat and click done, Post a screenshot of the logs after this and see if there are any errors.
If errors, reboot hub and try it again.
If still errors, unlink hubitat in the google assistant / home mobile app. Remove the google home app in hubitat and restart from inside the google assistant / home mobile app.
I think something is up goofed on the google assistant side, I've also been having issues with my philips hue integration with google assistant over the last couple of days.
I have found all works when linking Hubitat in Google Home and skipping adding the devices to a room. However, if I add them to a room right then or anytime after it fails to work for that device. This happens from any of my Google Home's, except the Google Assistant on my IOS.
Yeah, Google Home is acting weird lately, I have 3 minis, 1 Lenovo display and 4 Insignia speakers, all in the same home in Google Home settings, if I use the Insignia speakers or the Lenovo display all HE devices worked fine, but if I use the minis they tell me the device is not available or it can't help me with that yet or any other error. I have no idea how this can happen if all speakers are associated to the same home and email account....
