I have a 2 hub mesh network. The primary hub (C8) is in my home, and the remote hub (C7) is in a barn about 400 feet away. They are connected by a mesh network through a wired ethernet connection. While the hubs see each other just fine, my Google Home only sees the home devices. Shared (linked) devices do not show up either in Google Home or in the Hubitat "App" for Google Home.
It appears that others use Google Home with Hubitat mesh. Do your shared devices appear in Google Home?
Yes, as long as the linked device has a driver that is supported by Google Home integration.
Thank you. I had to get the right "click" sequence. I linked the device through Hub Mesh. However, the link only made the device available. It isn't actually linked until clicking on the "+". After that I had to click on the "Google Home" app to make it visible to Google Home.
The interface isn't as clear as it might be. However, knowing it was possible (thank you!) I was able to sort it out.
