I wonder if they will ever come to the realization of putting in a Zigbee/Zwave radio into those devices?

Interesting they are focusing on thread.
Further interesting I saw a story about the zigbee alliance and the thread org (whatever they are called) are going to work together.
Yeah agreed. That would give them even greater control over end point devices and help reduce the power of other players who have hubs.
