I am getting them very often not sure what it is
I have resynced, I don't get errors when I sync but every half hour or so these pop up?
The integration is "beta" for like 3 years, surprised it works as well as it does. My errors come and go. A few weeks back I had regular errors, today zero errors. And when it does error it takes my hub with it.
great platform, eh
Mind me asking what message do you have in the upper right corner?
@bobbyD It wants me to update to 2.2.3 but I had negative experience with that release so I rolled back. I am on 2.2.2.129 but I have had these errors for a long time, I just never realized how often I was getting them until recently.
Can you shed some light on the google errors?
I dont think the google home integration is in Beta, I think just the Chromecast integration is.
Chromecast is the only app tagged specifically as "beta". The error you get is likely caused by the devices authorized. If you have any custom drivers authorized, please remove them from Google Home to see which one might be causing those errors.
Most of the devices are inovelli switches and dimmers using inovelli drivers and shelly 1 switches using sgraybans drivers. The rest are stock virtual devices
I just removed the Hue devices that i had added in error, since I have hue linked to google home seperately but that didnt take the error away
Sorry, my mistake, you're right. I had an error when I authorized a sonoff device. Try removing the shelly
Just removed the 3 shelly switches, i will report back.
Yup it was the Shelly switches throwing the error.
Next question, should I worry about it? I will leave them removed from google home, just wondering.
Great. It's quite odd in that wifi devices, which google home usually can work with, don't work on HE. Anyway I left off my sonoff devices from GH, and actually later removed them altogether from HE. The platform is rather finicky about certain devices, and actually it's fantastic when things work, but that never lasted for me. I had much more free time when I ran ST, now much of my free time is dedicated to chasing HE problems.
If the C7 fix doesn't pan out by december, I'm out. I gave it 2 years...
Oh if the shelly behaves, you'll be fine, but whenever my sonoff misbehaved, it thrashes the hub and can cripple it. Any problem LAN devices can really cause major slowdowns and crashes
Just to update this thread, if I use the stock hubitat driver for the Shelly the errors go away.
