I got the last version of google home, and I can run routines from Hubitat
It is not straightforward, but it is simple enough. Also, create noise in your device list in the home app.
- Create a virtual switch and put a cool name (Google - Notify dishwasher status)
- Add to your google home integration app
- Sync all devices on your google home (ok google, sync all my devices)
- Add a device to your home in google home (I added it to a room called "experiments" because I put there my random stuff)
- Create a routine in google assistant and pick "Create a new house hold routine"
- Add a starter "your switch"
- Add any actions you want!!!
Now you can send action, for example, broadcasting "better experience than default broadcasting" or starting Roomba or starting other routines.
I wanted to add a dimmer and use values on the dimmer to run different stuff with the same device, but I wasn't able to make it work.
PS: not sure where to add this, so I added under developer. Please advise.
