Getting NEST thermostat to work after adding app

Hi all;

Can someone point me in a direction for a manual for the Nest intergration app?

I have My nest account linked and I can see my thermostats but I cannot do anything through alexa to
control them.

To be honest I've made more progress linking them in Alexa directly but that isn't what I want to do.

Any help appreciated.

Depending on what you want to do, if just changing temperature occasionally linking them directly to Alexa is fine, they are self sufficient.

You may want to add the thermostat to Alexa directly from the Nest integration rather than going through HE. It will be more reliable.
