The geofencing on the hubitat app has has some strange behavior recently. Its never really worked reliably in the first place but latley I cant get it to work at all.
I see notifications saying that hubitat has grabbed my location in the background but when i open the app im greeted by my dot bieng nowhere near my geofence circle but the app says im still inside
I too am experiencing geofencing weirdness. Initially it was working as far as presence notifications. The last few days my presence tile says I have left despite having my phone right next to the hub and despite the iPhone app saying I am within the geofence and the map showing the same thing. I believe I have all the settings for the HE app and my phone set correctly. What's strange is my wife's iPhone is showing appropriate presence/absence. Please advise if I should start a new thread.
I took a closer look at my settings both in the HE app and iPhone settings for HE. They look different from the screen shots above. In any case there is a touch field labeled 'Send Geo Event'. I tapped it and the presence tile on my the dashboard on my computer is now showing the correct value. I'm puzzled. Shouldn't the iPhone HE app update status automatically?
