I have an Alarm.com thermostat ADC-T2000 with a Z-wave plus badge.
I paired it with Hubitat, and it defaults to Generic Z-Wave DT Thermostat.
Is this better than Z-Wave Plus thermostat, or should I switch it?
Thanks.

Either should work, but the "DT" driver will read parameter descriptions from the device and offer them as preferences without a specific driver needing to be made for the device (although not always as intuitively as one). So, for some cases, it may be better. The main downside is that it does not work with older devices, only ones new enough to be able to report this information, which should be pretty apparent from the driver UI fairly soon after the install (or a "Configure" and maybe reloading the page if you switched to this driver from something else).
