Referring to this thread ... I'm having a very similar problem and hoping for some help.
I have 2 GoControl Z-Wave garage door opener. The older one uses S0 security and has no problem sending events to hubitat (C8 hub). The newer one (which uses S2 Access Control) used to send contact open/closed events maybe 1 to 1.5yrs ago, but in recent days it has NOT been working. I keep my hub up to date, but I don't know if there was a particular update that broke it. If I REFRESH the device, it gets the right contact state, so I know the tilt sensor is working and its properly linked to the GDO. But as stated in the thread referenceed above, there is no option for Z-Wave polling on this device, or a way in Rule Machine to issue the Refresh to that device. Can anyone suggest a next step in helping to debug this? After living with it for so long, I would really like to get to the bottom of it.
Update: I looked a little closer and found that there is now a REFRESH option for the GDO (Generic Z-Wave Garage Door Opener) in Rule Machine. So I implemented a rule to refresh it every 10 seconds. It is not ideal, as I would MUCH rather have it be event driven than polled, but at least it works for now. Still looking for any ideas on how to get to the true root cause.
