Generic Z-Wave Contact Sensor: Plus? or Not?

Does it matter?

I noticed my Ecolinks, while Plus, are driven by the non-plus built-in sensor.

Any difference/advantages of using the Plus version, or is that just vestigial at this point?

Thanks.

IIRC the essential commands are the same for Z-wave and +, the major difference in plus is the underlying communications, which is a layer the driver can't touch

The reason I looked at it was that I noticed some double events. While I know there is a setting to suppress this, I also read that changing the driver to the plus contact sensor helped. Since the devices I was looking at were all Plus, I figured the plus driver was better. Or, the regular driver could have been changed and the plus driver never removed. Whatever. I changed them all to plus, lol. See what happens. A solution in search of a problem, where there really was none.

Well well, that can only mean 1 thing, you haven't been purchasing enough new devices, to consume the free time you're dedicating to already established devices. If you have too much free time you can remove a device without excluding it, it will get you hours of ghost hunting fun.
I just bough a totally unsupported Solar Zigbee siren by Tuya. Let's see if I can trash my Zigbee network to eat up whatever freetime I have after work.

I'm retired. It still eats up a bunch of time.
