GE/Jasco Z-wave Indoor/Outdoor Smart Switch Model 14285

Tried every way I know to get this pool pump Smart Switch recognized by Hubitat with no success. Got the following log entry on one of my Z-wave inclusion searches:

2019-11-10 12:32:14.998 pm infofingerprint mfr:"0086", prod:"0104", deviceId:"0075", inClusters:"0x5E,0x26,0x33,0x70,0x85,0x59,0x72,0x86,0x7A,0x73,0x5A"
dev:132019-11-10 12:32:14.967 pm debugbuilding fingerprint for unknown Z-Wave device...

I'm now in worse shape than I was with my manual timer switch - the only way I can operate the new switch is to manually turn it off and on.

Not sure if this will work, but it is worth trying. Go the device page for the device that is included, and manually change the driver to "Generic Z-Wave Smart Switch" or "Generic Z-Wave Switch". Click Save, and then click "Configure". See if you can control it from the device page ....

If it's not finding the device when I do a Z-wave device discovery, how do I manually add the device?

I thought the issue was that it was including it, but not as the correct type of device. Try this. Gracefully (from the GUI), power down your Hubitat. Then unplug it for 30 seconds and re-power it.

After it boots, exclude the GE appliance switch while keeping track of your logs in another window to confirm it has successfully excluded. Then try including it.

That worked. Many thanks!

You're welcome!

I cannot get this device to add to Hubitat. I've moved the hub to within a few feet of the switch and it still doesn't get discovered. The following have been tried: move Hubitat hub to within a few feet of switch, safely power cycle the hub, flip breaker to switch for a few minutes. GE support has not responded. The hardwired portion works fine controlling a 240 volt pond fountain. Any other ideas?
