GE Enlighten Outlet

Continuing Wink 2 convert here. Trying to figure out to to get this outlet going on my Hubitat

Had marginal sucess with status updates and general working under Wink. For the life of me using the instructions leads to no reset or pairing mode. Anyone here been able to get this working?

I just hooked one up last weekend.. Pairing was easy... Did you remove it from your old hub first?... Because all I had to do was tap the button

The site you linked to has a download for the manual that details reset, exclusion, and inclusion procedures. I'm not clear on if you tried this or not. Here is what they say:

Adding your device to the Wave network

  1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to add a device to the Z-Wave network.
  2. Once the controller is ready to add your device, press and release the Program Button to add it in the network.

To remove and reset the device

  1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to remove a device from the Z-Wave network.
  2. Once the controller is ready to remove your device, press and release the manual/program button to remove it from the network.

To return to factory defaults
Press the button 3 times, then press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds. The LED will blink 5 times to confirm.

I would try the exclusion instructions first. On the "Discover Devices" screen in Hubitat, when you choose "Z-Wave," you'll have options for both inclusion and exclusion. Try the exclusion option first--sounds like you can just click the "Start Z-Wave Exclusion" button in Hubitat, then press the button on the outlet once. Hubitat should tell you "Unknown Z-Wave device excluded" if it found it and it was paired to another network.

For good measure, I'd try the reset instructions anyway, though the exclusion should be enough. Then I'd try pairing. If this doesn't work, how far are you from your hub? Do you have other powered Z-Wave devices (repeaters) in between? Z-Wave Plus devices like this should be able to pair through your mesh, so if they can't pair in place, they're unlikely to work in place either, but moving it close to the hub (or vice versa) might be a way to at least eliminate that as a concern.

I am using one of these under Hubitat. Works great. Excluded from Wink, joined HE right away.

I've tried resetting with the factory instructions. Tried excluding from Hubitat. Will hook up the wink and try excluding.

You don't need to hook it up to Wink to exclude using Wink.

does anyone have any info on how these work as repeaters? I have the plug version and would like to know how the compare to the aeotec dedicated repeaters
