I have a GE 3 way and slave installed and working for a few months now and suddenly quit this morning.
It doesn't work via Habitat on manually at either switch. The blue status is on.
Any suggestions ?
Was there a power glitch this morning? I have had several of the older GE switches fail. Normally this way. Most have a 5 year warranty and GE/Jasco is pretty good about sending you a new one.
My newer Z-Wave switches have been great for a couple of years, knock on wood.
Is your Z-Wave or Zigbee - they make both versions, don't they?
Have you tried cutting power to the switch, via a breaker?
Plus, how are the rest of your automations?
I've had the entire Z-wave net crap out at 3 AM during a cloud reboot.
Perhaps also do a shutdown/power cycle?
I'd try killing power to reset it if it doesn't have the pull tab at the bottom.
The few that I've had fail would go into a switch loop where you could constantly hear the relay clicking.
They said it's not working manually either...sounds like a problem with the switch.
I shutdown and restarted the hub and that didn't fix it so I reset the breaker and all seems well for now ..
Not sure why this happened....
