What is %text% in the Text Notifications field?
If text isn’t a local variable it wouldn’t send anything Try typing something else there like
The %device% failed to close, please check.
Even if "%text%" totally fails, you should at least get a push notification, but it should work since it's a variable available for use in this context.
Have you verified that your Pushover device itself is working? Do you see anything in the logs when the door opens or closes?
Are you trying to get notifications immediately after the door opens/closes? If so, enter '0' in the "For how long?' input.

Not if the variable is not defined. It can't send a notification that is blank. The driver won't do anything with a null message.
Try taking out %text% and just put some text in the box.
