I'm setting up new hub today as I transition from Iris. So far just over 40 devices up and running. Most have paired, some with more effort than others.
One in particular has been more problematic than others. I have two Iris garage door openers. One works perfectly, the one that is closer to the hub is quite flaky. I paired last night, then not reporting it's data or operating correctly. Unpaired, factory reset, paired and same issues.
When I compare the two in the devices section the only difference I see
is that the flaky one doesn't include "zwaveSecurePairingComplete: true"
I've paired it more than once, but for some reason this Secure Pairing didn't complete?
Other than a remove and repair I don't know how to Secure Pair?
Thanks for your help.
remove and repair until you get it to securely connect. takes a few tries sometimes.
For secure pairing it helps if it is right next to the hub, then moved to its final location. if you have z-wave devices between the hub and your garage door opener, you’ll want to make sure they are z-wave+ and support beaming.

The other opener paired perfectly and it just a bit further away than this one. The hub is in the FROG (finished room over the garage) and the problematic opener is the closest device of all to the hub. Probably about 10 ft. away.
It might be time to sit back and relax a bit. Run a Zwave Repair and let everything "settle". ????
I moved the hub into the garage. Literally just below where it was before and the secure pairing completed. Now the hub states the door is an "unknown" state. I've opened and closed the door manually, still no luck.
Finally have both of them paired. One is much pickier than the other and required the hub to be nearby.
However, I see this thermostat has a native app at RadioThermostat.com. Not having remote access for a few things is important to me, my garage doors included.
