Frustrated - want to roll back

Starting a couple weeks back, motion sensors are getting stuck active. I don't have any info yet, and can't spend time on this now. I try not to update/upgrade - but I do in hopes small problems might stop.
I've had LED strips flat out stop working - I reconnect and then when triggered by a Room Lighting - they now flash on then go off. I'm just leaving them off now. I had a motion sensor (an old Smart things device which has worked flawless for 4 years) just get stuck active. Now I have 3 stuck motion sensors. They are different vendors and dont share a driver. changed batteries hoping, but it's just deteriorating again. I'm going to roll back about a month - I'm not even sure what started this latest debacle. So frustrated.
I'm thinking 10/5 2.4.2.160 - a good choice? Below are my options:

Downgrading is likely the least effective step here. If anything, I’d recommend updating to the latest platform version.

Based on the details you shared, this appears to be a Zigbee mesh issue rather than something a platform update—new or old—would resolve. Additional troubleshooting will be needed to identify what’s causing the mesh instability, such as newly introduced interference, problematic mains-powered repeaters, or other environmental changes.

Also note that restoring a backup doesn't roll back the firmware - that needs to be done from the Diagnostics menu.

thanks for the reminder on that about the firmware. I remembered a little about this this morning - I started having problem on DST, and things haven't solidified since. I'll go back and hand fix things next chance I get.
Re my mesh - no changes to speak of. I did add 3 wifi cam's to my network this month - they don't connect to HE. I moved off Echo speaks custom about this time as well. I'll try the go back option.

You never said if you had recently done a hub platform update. If you haven't, not sure why you think rolling back will help. :man_shrugging: If you did recently update and want to remove the platform version change from list of your suspects then rolling back to the version you were just on could provide some information. DST issues could affect when events occur, but would not affect how your sensors actually work, so don't see that being a contributor.

Your issues sound more like a mesh issue than a platform issue. I'd open the live logs page, and then reset/re-join the devices, turn on their debug logging, and trigger the devices and see what you're getting in logs to help troubleshoot.

If they are using 2.4Ghz Wifi that is the same frequency range as Zigbee

I see Bobby mentioned Zigbee but I dont see anywhere that you actually stated if these are Zigbee devices or what they are?

Made same assumption based on device.
