In getting some Eva Logik ZW97 two port plugs installed, I did not have the compatible driver installed prior to adding them. Once I moved the devices to the correct driver I ended up with 2 orphaned child devices and two working child devices. The option to remove the orphaned devices is greyed out and changing the parent to Device for a moment does not change the option to remove them. On the orphaned devices it shows DISABLED in red at the top of the page as well. Anyone have luck on other ways to remove these darn things without the headache of excluding the parent and including again?

You change the PARENT device to use the Device driver and then....
Click the Delete all Child Devices.
Then switch the parent back to the device driver you need.
Yeh I see that I can remove all. Was hoping for something more elegant to remove the dead devices rather than wipe them all out and whatnot.
