The killer is that to my knowledge, I am not trying to update any firmware

Webcore or piston update maybe? What do you see when click on sys:1 ?

Takes me to hub log

The firmware update message is not from webCoRE. are you using zwave firmware updater?

No, and I have received these messages 3x times today. To my knowledge, Nothing releated to firmware should be happening

I would try a Hub Reboot. If it is something running on the hub this should stop it.

The message I posted were 10 minutes after I had rebooted due to the earlier ones I had received, I had thought maybe database

Looks like a message from the zigbee firmware updater ......

It sounds like the Hubitat folks need to come to the rescue.

I, being an impatient sort would (after making backups to my PC) delete every app then see if the message returns.

I’m thinking download a backup, soft reset, restore backup…

this message should go away after a reboot, don't go nuts resetting the hub or take any other drastic measures...

Thanks, I did reboot and have not seen it again as of yet

Im getting a lot of these. Ive power cycled the hub with shutdown, unplug, wait, re-plug procedure. Still getting them. I remember trying the Update Firmware button on a couple of Zigbee devices, which I think failed as there was no new firmware.

Perhaps that tempting button should only be shown or clickable if there is valid firmware for the device?

@mike.maxwell Any further tips to get it to stop trying?

Sure, bounce the hub that will stop them

Bounce meaning reboot, or power cycle? Or something else? Ive done both.

Hopefully you aren't supposed to actually see how high is will bounce off the floor - hardwood preferably.
