Firefox broken

It looks like the FF gods broke the addons section yesterday causing a major issue with nearly all addons disabled. They have tried to fix it via a hotfix but even that isn't working.

Update: To by-pass this bug go to about:config and search for xpinstall.signatures.required and switch to false by double clicking on it.

Firefox

Well there's your problem.

I enabled that setting this morning and restarted and my plugins got reinstalled. Big mistake by them.

You prefer Internet Exploder ?

I have to use IE sometimes for work. Every time I load it I can’t imagine how people work off of it.

I’m too dependent on Firefox. Just happy they got the fix out fast. Noticed it last night and just couldn’t bother to look into it.

The fix didn't work for many users. And that studies hotfix only works for downloaded versions and not the supplied versions for linux distros.

So it's a huge mistake on FF side for allowing the signing cert to expire in the first damn place.

Eep. Now let's not get insulting.

That's how I felt with your comment.

I was joking on both comments, clearly I've misunderstood your intent. Thus the  and :grinning:

I'm with you Doug. I too try to convey tone with emoji which often goes overlooked. My go-to for joking is always :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: (winky tongue face).
