Fibaro FGS 223 Device Settings

Hi, very new to HE and I am currently transitioning from my original Fibaro Lite HA. It is clear to see that HE is far more powerful than the Fibaro Lite platform. It is also very clear that I've got a lot to learn. I know tiddly quat about coding and it was very easy to set parameters to devices within HCL. I have however, with some great assistance from @amithalp (thanks again), installed one of my FGS-223 with the Metering Switch Child Device Driver. The FGS-223 is connected to 230V and the S! & S2 toggle switches turn on/turn off their respective circuits. Both circuits operate correctly through my dashboard, the device itself and various built in apps. So I have two questions please.

  1. How to I change the parameters on the FGS-213, in particular, defining the switch type and

  2. Initially, when first connected, both circuits operated corrected via each switch input. But for some reason, when I switch on S2, the connected lights (10No 1W recessed deck lights) start flashing. Any ideas why? S1 circuit does not replicate this condition.

Once again, many thanks in advance.

If you go into the hub 'Devices' menu and look down the left column until you find the FGS-223. You'll see the FGS-223 as the Parent Device, with the two switches nested underneath as Child devices. One of mine is shown below:

If you click on the Parent Device - 'Garden' in my example above, you'll see all of the configurable options as below:

Adjust what you need, then click 'Save Preferences' and that should make the changes. If so you're all set. If not clicking 'Configure' at the top of the screen will send all the values that are in the Preference Pane to the device.

I'm not sure about the flashing. I'd check all the settings for your switches etc first and then report back if you're still having issues.

Many thanks for this, all sorted, but..........yes, there's always a but lol, could I pick your brain one more time. As I can obviously see that you are using the 223's, would I be right in saying that both S1 & S2 switches have to be the same? i.e. both toggle or momentary. Once again thanks for your help, learning all the time.
