For temperature control with Keen Vents I’ve got three of the Fibaro Door/Window Sensor 2 (FGDW-002) using the built-in HE drivers, but I am completely unable to set the Preferences, and I’m getting only very occasional updates on the temperature - every few hours randomly, and rarely responding to temperature changes.
There are also two buttons visible on the Device page: Configure and Refresh, neither of which seem to do anything that I can see.
Anyone know how can I actually set these Preferences to get more frequent and reliable temperature updates from these devices?
I would have a look at the available parameters for this device in the fibaro docs, then whack at them using the basic zwave tool.
You should be able to get the exact reports you want this way.
I've done that, but the thing is that I can change the Prefs on the Device page, but they don't seem to stick, or become set in the actual device.
Are you manually waking the device up after saving the settings?
This device sleeps so the handler has to wait for the device to wake up before it can send any commands to it.
If you open the logging window, enable debug logging in the device and click save you should be able to see whether or not the device has woken up and accepted all the changes.
