Fibaro dimmer 2 (FGD-212) driver

I've tried a couple of drivers (built-in & Hubitat/fibaro-dimmer-2.groovy at master · erocm123/Hubitat · GitHub, Hubitat/Fibaro Dimmer 2 (FGD-212) at master · RobinWinbourne/Hubitat · GitHub), but none of them is working well.

Robin's version was the best of these three, but still having huge issues. Light turns on, but is immediately switched off. And after a couple of retries now it doesn't even turn on. Anyone having similar experience?

Using the latest platform version with C-7.

Hi,

Try to set parameter 20 to 1 (toggle switch) then it should probably work. Had similar behavior for Qubino.

Cheers Rene

Have that already, but it doesn't help

currentProperties : {22=[0], 44=[2, 88], 23=[1], 26=[0], 28=[1], 50=[10], 52=[14, 16], 30=[2], 53=[0, 10], 31=[1], 10=[0, 0], 54=[0], 32=[2], 33=[0], 35=[0], 14=[0], 58=[0], 39=[0, 250], 19=[0], 1=[1], 2=[99], 5=[1], 6=[0, 1], 7=[1], 8=[0, 5], 9=[1], 40=[3], 41=[2], 20=[1], 42=[3], 43=[1]}```

and 21 to 0? I do not see that listed. Else I don't know other than a factory reset and try again.

It's zero. Thanks for these hints, I'll probably do a factory reset. Btw, running this device in a secure mode, but it shouldn't matter (?)

I had a lot of issues when I set mine up. In the end I switched them to 'Basic Z Wave Tool' once calibrated at the device, set the parameters manually and then just switched back to the Hubitat built in driver. I've not had any issues since, though obviously I need to remember not to 'configure' or 'save preferences' in the device window to avoid overwriting the parameters set with the Basic Z Wave Tool.

I changed to Basic Z-wave tool and ran "Get parameter report". At first I thought it doesn't work, but it's just very sloooow:

EDIT: it's not slow, but just gives a couple of parameters (although the whole list was requested)

Using Basic Z-wave tool and setting parameter 13 to do forced auto-calibration finally did the trick. Now I'm back with Robin's version of the driver.

It's funny I've never had an issue with the standard driver after setting the parameters manually. Then 5 minutes ago my Living Room lights went out for no reason with the logs showing 'Switched off physical'. There's a ghost in the house....
