expanding of devices, ex schulade door wifi lock, rainbird sprinkler, amazon smart t stat, google home door bell? Also can 2 lutron hubs be connected to hubitat . I have one in main house and one in polebarn.
You can connect more than one Lutron system to the same hub. I’m not sure what the other question is. Can you expand on that?
Would those devices be compatible in the future ?
I don't know what some of those devices or brands are (schulade? is the "Google Home" doorbell the "Nest" doorbell?), but in general, a device needs to either use a standard protocol, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, or Matter, or have a documented API (preferably local, but cloud works too -- and preferably documented and not reverse-engineered) that Hubitat can use to integrate. It looks like some of those have one, but there are others like the Amazon thermostat where I wouldn't count on it (why could you possibly want more than Alexa support?
).
For any that do, I'm not aware of any work going on right now. However, "in the future," of course, anything is possible!
There is a community integration for Rainbird sprinklers.
My guess would be Schlage, since the OP seemed to be referring to a “door lock” (aka a deadbolt).
yes was wondering for those following devices that hubitat would work with
Schlage wifi door lock
Google home door bell
Amazon smart t stat will probably get a different stat in the future.
Rainbird wifi sprinkler
