The Commodore 64 came out 44 yrs ago and “You’ve Got Mail” was 43 yrs ago. The upside is WWW is only 37. So not that old after all. 
Here is one for the ages: in 1994 the Romanian National team was in the US at the World Cup, and I was watching the games on TV. Fast forward 31 years, and I am in the US at the World Cup, and they are watching the games on TV. 
At least it’s out of choice. Unlike that Somali World Cup Referee who made it to Miami with a “valid” visa, but was denied entry after 11 hours of questioning and sent back home.
I read about that. All they said was that they were protecting the country. ugh.
The choice of not having a football team anymore that can qualify for the World Cup? 
He was quickly rewarded to referee a major game: the European Super Cup Final. That likely comes with a big bonus for him.
