It would be great to be able to use Regular Expressions (Regex) for the filter in the Logs. As a long time Tasker user, I have found Regex to be quite powerful for searching and filtering. This website gives an easy overview.
The existing filter search box could be modified to use Regex. Though that box as is will find any word combo in the logs, and I can't really think of a need for a Regex search in my use cases.
I can filter now by date range, device, log level, and then add text to the box to narrow it down even more. Seems like a reasonable ask, but I don't think I would ever find a use for it myself.
While I think a regex allowed in the search box would be nice, I also can't think of any cases where I would have used it.
An AND or an OR would be a simple application. Not really looking at complicated use cases
