Fanimation fan with light and smart switch ideas

Hi- on C8 with version 2.4.1.162. I just installed a fanimation fan (has a light as well). The fan module has an RF (?) remote that came with it, its currently wired to a Zooz Zen30. My intention was top button for the fan light, relay button would control the fan on/off, aware I'd lose fan speed with the Zen30. I believe the way its all wired with the fanimation module/canopy, the relay on the Zen30 just restores power to the last setting used on the remote. Not a big deal as the wife likes the remote...

However, I personally would like to wire a Inovelli Blue with their zigbee fan canopy and bind it, my understanding is the fanimation remote would essentially be useless. Would make the wife unhappy.

Anyone have combo of switch/ fan module (or something else) that would make both parties happy? I don't have a bond bridge, unfamiliar with Hampton Bay (?). One Idea I had was going with my Inovelli blue/fan canopy combo and then use a Zen37 and program a few different button rules for it. Most of my house is Zooz switches with a handful of Inovelli blues.

Is the Fan an AC motor or DC?

Is the remote receiver module a canopy module or integrated into the motor housing. Canopy module is typically a small plastic box that sites up in the ceiling bracket area.

AC Motor. Its a canopy module that came with the fan. Currently have the ZEN30 relay in smart bulb mode so the remote that came with the fan does full control.

There is no good way to integrate and also keep using the original remote. Bond hub would let you still use the remote but if you do the bond will get out of sync and not know the current state of things.

If you go with an inovelli module you would need a replacement zwave or Zigbee button controller.
