Failed to power up c7

Hello,
i purchase a c7 unit from The Smartest House and the unit doesn't power up.They told me i have to troubleshoot first with you guys and get a ok from you the unit its bad.
Not sure what to do anymore.
Can you please help me here

First thing to try is using another power supply to see if that is the issue (as opposed to the hub). Any USB A power block that produces 5v/1a should work for a C-7.
