I just upgraded to a C8 and migrated everything over from my old C5. How do I factory reset the C5 to remove all my old data?
You can simply perform a Soft Reset using the Diagnostics Tool, as well as manually reset both the Z-Wave and Zigbee radios. This way, the old hub will still be connected to your Hubitat Cloud account should you decide to repurpose it.
If you really want to perform a Full Reset, which also resets both the Z-Wave and Zigbee radios and deregisters your hub, follow this procedure.

If I remember correctly, the only difference between the soft reset + radio reset and a full reset is that it deregisters your hub from the account if you do a full reset?
That is my understanding as well.
