I had created a number of test EZ Dashboards and now I am trying to delete them with no luck. Every time I try deleting them, after a few hours they reappear in the Dashboards. This problem originally started on my C-7 hub and I had forgotten about it. Recently, I migrated to C-8 Pro and apparently I migrated the EZ Dashboard issue as well. On the C-8 Pro I still cannot delete the EZ dashboards as they keep reappearing again. I have tried doing a Soft Reset and restoring from backup but still the issue keeps coming back. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
- Go to the Apps list (not dashboards) and find the EZ Dashboard app.
- From there click the (i) on the very far right, either on the parent or one of the dashboards below it (depending on what you want to delete).
- Then click the Delete button in bottom corner.
That should get rid of it. There is no coming back from that.
Deleting the parent from the app list still managed to bring back all the dashboards.
I ended up trying by deleting all the children individually and then removing the empty parent and that seemed to have gotten rid of the dashboards. Thank you for the tip!
I have tried all of the aforementioned methods to delete these and for days now, they keep coming back. i have deleted the children and then the parent. after a little while, they return.. what is the trick to deleting them?
ok i think i have figured out the issue .. hopefully .. in the rooms .. the switch was thrown to automatically generate dashboards... so it is now turned off. children and parent deleted... time will tell
