I will tell you what I think about these 2 items and you can let me have it if I get it wrong.
First, lets say I have a rule that uses a wait plus several other commands. If I put the wait command near the top of the rule, that rule stops and no other commands are given until the wait timer expires. If I want to run the other commands first I should put the wait at the bottom so the other commands are not affected.
Lets say I have a light to turn off delayed 1 hour at the top of the rule, that only affects the light and rest of the rule will run. I do not have to put the delay at the bottom. Is this how it works?
Not sure if you read the doc but they are both explained quite well

I read through the Rule 5.1 documentation you linked. Nice description, but a bit thick. I'll need a cup of coffee and some meditation ![]()

Often as an evolutionary outcome of questions like the OPs.
Hats off to the people that do that. We all know how arduous good documentation is to do, and sometimes to read ![]()
OP, do some searches in the Forum. There are some good threads elaborating on this topic (for those of us that hate reading instructions first
).
