I stumbled across Eve matter motion sensors. These look suspiciously like Hue indoor motion sensors. Are they the same with a different label?
According to the internetz they are different size, so probably not the same. Also, there are good reviews overall!

While HE supports Matter, does it support Thread?
Not yet. I would have to use them through HomeKit (Apple TV 4k for me) to pair them with habitat. This is the same way i have brought my Nano leaf Essentials bulbs into habitat.
No, and the current generation of hubs won't. Contrary to Matter, a software protocol, Thread requires a 2.4 GHz radio. Although HE has a 2.4 GHz radio, Zigbee uses it, so another 2.4 GHz radio is needed.
