EU Zwave stick

I've had my hubitat for quite a few months now and am tryong to move away from smartthings by migrating my zwave devices. Sadly Ive lost the zwave stick that should gave come with my hubitat hub (don't remember seeing it tbh).

What would be the best zwave stick to use and can anyone point me on how I would add devices?

TIA!

Which model do you have and which country are you in? The C-5 model has a z-wave chip for the US frequency built-in.

I have the C-5 model but I'm in Europe so I need a seperate zwave stick

Yes, then you need a USB stick. @Royski do you know which one it is for Europe?

And how would I go about pairing my devices. I assume it's not quite a straight forward as my zigbee devices have been up till now

For that I'm no expert since where I live there are almost no z-wave devices using the frequency allowed here.

For some docs to get started, you have this:
https://docs.hubitat.com/index.php?title=How_to_Build_a_Solid_Z-Wave_Mesh

Thanks for that @markusπŸ˜€
I read that one last week. Right now I'm trying to fins which stick is recommended for the EU and how I would go about setting it up.

I use an aeotec z-stick on my hub
This works perfectly..

There may be others but his is the one I use

Thanks for that. I'll order one of those then. Can you describe how you set it up?

You just need to make sure that it is plugged in BEFORE you boot up your hub.
That way the hub knows to use this, not any internal device

do you have the splitter lead? your need that too, it should have come with the hub.

We just moved to our new house, so my guess is it's lost lol

You wouldnt happen to have a picture?

Sorry no, i have a C4 so don`t have one, i just know that you need one. It converts a micro USB to a micro USB and a standard USB.

The cable looks like this:

  1. The z-wave stick will connect to the port labeled "Connect to any USB peripherals".
  2. The microUSB male labeled "Connect to your devices" will connect to the C-5 hub.
  3. The power supply will connect to the microUSB female labled "Connect to power cord"
