Error Message(s)

I'm completely new to hubitat--I inherited it from the previous owner. The lights on the front porch were working fine (turning on at sunset, off at 22:00) and then they'd started working intermittently. I attempted to change the rules, but this is the error message I'm getting.

It's also saying the device is being trigged by an "unknown" app.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do (and please talk to my like I know nothing about this program, because I don't.

Guessing this is probably a rule but let’s start by clicking on the app:6 and discovering what app we’re working with here (should highlight the app name at the top of the log page).

If it’s a rule if you could capture a screen print of it and post it someone here should be able to walk through it with you. (Join the Hub Owners group if you can’t post an image).

I'll need to work on how to post a screen shot, but there's no app that's highlighted at the top of the logs. There's a "show more" prompt which doesn't open when clicked on.

When I click on the link that says "Basic Rule-1.0" it takes me to the error message I sent earlier.

That’s different… are you sure you typed the hub’s IP address correctly?

Assuming your hub’s IP address is 172.31.10.8, try the following:

App 6 does not exist on this hub.

It was most likely deleted at some point. Please update your links.

I haven't a clue how to update the links or how to move the lights to a link that is active.

Will a "soft reset" fix this?

Can you post a screenshot of the rule(s) that's involved in all of this (mentioned in first post)?

That may give us some clues about what that missing app/thing is...

I'm not sure how to share a screen shot. I know how to make one, but I don't know how to add here since it won't let me load and documents.

This error is under the "Past Logs" link

All the other devices on this app (10 of them) work fine, just not my front porch cafe lights. In the logs for this fixture, it appears the message is being recorded, in that it says the lights were turned on at X time, and turned off at X time.

Now the cafe lights just turn on and off willy-nilly, 'Oh, look there on tonight" sort of thing.

In the second post above, thebearmay gave a link to join the Owners group -- that will enable you to post screenshots.

Restricting screenshot/link posting is just a spam/bot mitigation measure for new accounts in the form here.

I'm guessing the rule in play here is "Front Porch Lights On/Off" - can you post a screenshot of that rule (not the logs)? How that rule's been constructed may have important clues.

I don't think there is a rule for the Front Porch Cafe Lights --it's entirely possible I deleted it. Which I may have done this afternoon thinking I could just create a new rule. But the weirdness with the lights was happening way before me trying to take-on this app this afternoon,
