You didn't specify, but I'm assuming you're using the Lock Code Manager app built in to Hubitat. If so, it does not support recurring time of day granularity, just enabling and/or disabling on specific dates and times. If you want something else, you'll have to use a rule or custom app. However, it sounds like maybe you're trying that one-time thing and it's not working? If so, there's likely a problem with the device. If you enable some form of logging in Lock Code Manager and look at those, it may help you figure things out.
With Lock Code Manager, I usually find it most reliable to start from a "blank slate," erasing all codes on the lock and letting Lock Code Manager handle everything. In the case of my Schlage locks, this means manually deleting (from Hubitat) the two built-in codes and sometimes doing a "Fetch all lock codes" (and waiting a few minutes for it to complete) to make sure Hubitat has an accurate list.
Yes... I am using the Lock Code Manager. It works great for my family and a few with specific static lock code all the time.
I would like to give house guests their own code so they can come and go as they wish, Thus this effort to set up an ENABLE (to be set up for their arrival date/time), and then also a DISABLE (to take effect after they leave on date/time).
Does this make sense??? Do I have to go through the whole gamut as you outlined or ???
