I just opened an email advertising the c-8 pro connecting to Ring via Matter (or something). Confusing.
Trying to find out more about it, but can find nothing.
The only link was to order the c-8 pro.
It seems advertising that the c-8 pro can connect to Ring using an "unofficial" app is a bit off.
I'm using the app now with a c-7 connected.

Hubitat now has a built-in integration for Ring devices. The email was not advertising the community/unofficial app.

The email didn’t claim that Hubitat connects to Ring via Matter.
But it was confusing in that it appears to describe “local control” of Ring devices, even though the Ring integration uses a cloud API.
