Yes, it is a third reality button pusher. I did get it to add and I see on the pusher info page where it can be tested. Thanks
Alright. Now when I put hubitat.local into my browser, it now goes to my hubitat Hub like it said it would do in the manual.
The hubitat.cloud just brings up a Google search page.
no such internet address. What you are looking for his my.hubitat.com
That’s what I meant above when I said hubitat.cloud will never work.
That URL does not exist.
Ok everyone, I finally found where I saw hubitat.local in the documintation.
So you can see what I saw. Lol it did confuse me for a bit because I thought I was losing it.
Paul
Yes, I knew I wasn't completely nuts!
Oh, and it is in the hubitat faq section of the documentation site. Sorry, I forgot that before.
Nobody above ever called you out for trying to use hubitat.local. That address may or may not work, depending on one's home network behavior. This is mentioned in the documentation you found.
However, hubitat.cloud is the URL that has never existed, and was what other users above mentioned as such.
Perhaps this could help clear up some confusion on the OP’s part:
The “.local” domain is an example of a standardized, special-use domain.
As I mentioned above, there is no such thing as a corresponding “.cloud” special-use domain name.
I understand now. Thanks everyone for the guidance.
Paul
