EERO and HE

Hey all,

So I am very interested in getting more accurate presence by using not only locative but also my home network. I know some folks have integrations into other routers but I use EERO for my mesh network. I found this: eero-client/eero at master · 343max/eero-client · GitHub which is running python scripts but to be honest I am such a n00bie when it comes to development/coding or even analyzing code. This looks like it is making web socket queries so I am curious if this could be developed into something?

My biggest interest would be to replicate Hass.IO development community's device-tracker and begin incorporating multiple UDP/Socket routers into an HE app.

Thoughts on this code and if HE supports this type of communication?

Someone has already released an Eero device tracker for Home Assistant.

If I can stabilize my system I’d love to work on a full Eero integration. The ability to use devices for presence or turn off the guest network when nobody is home would be huge.

Yes I know they have. They are using this root code to accomplish that.
