1/ create new RM app
2/ in Actions, add "Control Switches, Push Buttons" - "Turn switches on or off"
3/ edit the action added in previous step, and change it to "Set Dimmers and Bulbs"
The GUI doesn't change to allow you to select bulb, it stays in "switch mode":
It actually doesn't matter from which to which action type you want to change, nothing works for me, this is just the simplest example to reproduce this issue.
It shouldn't be offering for you to change from setting a switch to setting a dimmer -- that is not what is meant by editing an action. For that, you should delete the action, and then create the one you want.
That's a UI issue, and it will be addressed. It wants to show you what you have selected, but it should not allow change at that level.
