Agree about the variable names. I have two Ecowitt driven Hub Variables. "RainingNow" and "TooWindy" with the latter being used to determine if the retractable awning should be out or not. Makes rule writing and reading easier.

Update: @sburke781 's idea of a wait at the end of the rule seems to have fixed the intermittent glitch. I've had multiple days of rain with multiple daily instances of the rule running since adding a 15 second wait at the end, and it has run properly every time.
