Hello - I recently got an alert that 2 of my Ecowitt devices (Outdoor temp and humidity and indoor temp and humidity) were "orphaned". The devices seem to be reporting correctly even after that event and I have not received any alerts for other Ecowitt connected devices. Does anyone have an idea what would cause this? Is there something I need to do to fix this? Thanks for your help
I'll have to check, but I expect it is if they drop out of the data feed. Are they still showing as orphaned?
No - I just checked and the "orphaned" flag is "false" for all the devices. Not sure what happened at that time. It looks like it was "true" for about 5 minutes (between 9:31 and 9:36 AM).
The best I can think of it they temporarily lost comms with the Ecowitt of gateway then re-established communication shortly after.
