I have had a GW1100 with several T/H sensors set up for a while now. I wanted to add a second GW1100 out in the greenhouse to manage any sensors out there and have a separate environment from the house sensors. I tried to add a second gateway using the Virtual device option under Add Device, and entered all of the relevant data as needed. I have the device listed, but no sensors are being added under it, and it doesn't show the built in sensor readings either. It shows the MAC address and *status : Sensor sync pending
I have been using the MAC address on the first unit, should it be using the IP address? Not sure what I did wrong adding the gateway, I removed it then tried adding again. No change. The sensors are all added automatically, correct? I don't remember having to add each one.
Have you setup the custom data feed for the second Gateway in the WSView App? (Can't claim to have this setup myself).
EDIT - Just in case anyone was worried, I meant I haven't set this up for a second gateway
If you have correctly setup the data feed, do you see anything in the HE logs indicating any data received? If not, try turning on trace logging on the gateway device in HE.
This would be the place to start. Particularly the output from any system logs indicating any data it did not know where to direct.
That fixed it! I had forgot that there was a part within the GW1100 to feed the data to the HE. Thanks!!! I set up the first one probably a year ago and haven't messed with it since.
