I have a relay with a set of dry contacts. When relay opens I want to send a signal to a chime like the Ecolink. The chime would be in another part of the house. How could I do this?
I would use an ecolink contact sensor which has terminals that you can connect up to your dry contact. The z-wave sensor sends "open" or "closed" to the hub which would send it to the chime. Easy.
Or you could use the Rules Machine.
