Ecobee setpoints changing even tho rule doesn't set it

Hi there,

my setpoints seem to get changed with a rule machine 4.0 rule.

I have the rule set to turn ecobee to heat but have all the setpoints as blank
but it is still overriding my setpoints on the ecobee. (instead of being 21 c it's 23c)

Is there any other setting somewhere that could be doing this?

You can see it's the RM rule doing it here:

Are you using the native Ecobee integration? Do you have thermostat controller set up? If you go into the thermostat itself, it will give you a list of all of the apps that are interfacing with that device right on the device edit page. Maybe that will give you some places to look.

Yep native with hubitat. I don't have thermostat controller setup. As I have set points set via comfort settings.

Can you show the "in use by" section of your edit device page? What are the values of your comfort profiles? Are they what it is changing the settings to?

looks like i have some dupes.... home heating and home heating asleep. but in rule machine there is only one version.

Something is very wrong because home heating asleep doesn't even appear on that list of apps. Did you reload the apps page or did you use your back button on your browser?

yeah home heating is second down on the attached screen shot - do you see it?

i reloaded the app page and the ecobee device page

edit my bad you're right it doesn't appear.

see edit above you're right - is there a limit on what apps show on that list?

No, got to the apps page without out using the navigation buttons on your browser but by using the links to the left.

I would contact support.

Click on the app from the device edit page....where does it bring you? Did you start writing a rule but never click "done"?

Those are links, what happens when you click those Rule-4.0 links in this image?
Can you not navigate to the rule and remove it?

Cleaned it all up and that installation setting is awesome.

Only issue I'm seeing now is ecobee says it's 18.5 degrees say and in the device on hubitat it's saying 19. It seems to be off by .5.

The device is updating correctly for control etc. And says last updated five minutes ago.
