Echo Speaks - trigger rule on echo volume

Hi

I’m trying to find a way to trigger an action when the volume on an Echo Speaks connected echo device goes above a certain level during certain modes.

I can see the volume value when I view the device information, but I can’t see how I would use that as a trigger (either in ES or RM).

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

There’s probably a way in both of those, but in webCoRE it’s really simple to select the device and level as a trigger....

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

When you set your trigger use custom attribute and select the Echo device. You can then trigger on Volume.

You can do this in RM or Webcore.

Thanks. I have something set up in Webcore now, just evaluating it to see if I have it set up right. I’ll take another look at RM though too.

Ok, problem solved with Webcore, and very straightforward, works perfectly. Thanks for the suggestion
