Echo Speaks playing music issue

Has anyone else experienced the issue where they will run a command through echo speaks to Play(), SearchAmazonMusic(), etc. and while the logs report the command correctly going through, echo/alexa doesn't respond/play music.

I can even see in the amazon recent activity page the requests coming through, but will work very sporadically if not at all. Just wanted to check and see if anyone has run into this issue before and if they were able to resolve it.
