Yep, saw that too. My interest is how well will it accurately detect motion and how it acts around pets.
Can't seem to find any black friday deals on it tho - $50 or $35 off ebay - almost worth it just for the test/driver check with Tonesta7's code!
Yes, but you could use this as a presence detector for things like a thermostat home/away. Most have a 30min reset anyway.
Great option for 4th Gen and later Echo owners that don’t want to buy the off-shelf thermostats with remote sensors, or don’t want to use IR motion sensors for the task.
