It’s been requested. No confirmation if we’ll get it.
I wonder if we should set up a wiki thread with “feature requests” posts and people could tag themselves to it if they’re waiting for a similar feature. That way the developers could have an idea of how popular a feature idea is. The feature requests are spread out all over the place, and sometimes the features are finished but people don’t realize it’s available. The recent motion sensor app, for example.

Good idea!
An alternative to a duplicated rule could be a rule template, or possibly nested rules. For example, create a rule nest with a template, selecting time of day/sunrise sunset/mode etc. and then all rules created under that nest already have those attributes. Might make organization easier as well.

I like the idea of “New” > “From Template”, but duplicate would serve the purpose just fine. Another idea that would work just as well would be export and import. Really, if you can do that, it’s pretty much the same as duplicate, but more useful , since you could export your rules to share with others.
